A great way to spend one of your last days of Summer vacation is splashing in rain water. We woke up this morning to cloudy sky's, and once it started raining, it didn't stop all day. The water has been pouring off our roof. We had plans to go see a dollar movie this morning, but decided to stay home and enjoy the rain.
This may not be exciting for most people, but it seldom rains here. We have been getting flash flood warnings all week, and today Mother Nature definitely delivered lots of water.
It looks like a small stream flowing down our street. At the bottom of our street Abbie was playing in water that was knee deep. I wish I could be over by the wash area's right now to see how much water is flowing down.
