This year we were very surprised to find that a leprechaun had left us some fun surprises. Our little girls woke up with a new pair of green shoes next to their beds. We started our day with our tradition of green pancakes, and headed off to school for some more fun.
Thanks to our great teachers the girls had fun day of leprechaun tricks and parties.
Micah will regret that he intentionally made this face for the picture. We had a complete green dinner except for the meat loaf (I thought that would be a little too gross to eat.)

What a fun mom you are! I had all these cute ideas in my head, but when my alarm went off this morning I hit snooze too many times and we ended up having boring bagels for breakfast. Can you wake up extra early next year and come cook green food for us? Thanks ahead of time! :)

You are so good! I was trying to think of what I could do for a green dinner but nothing was coming. So we had a regular boring dinner. (We did have green eggs and green milk for breakfast.) But I would never even think of doing all the cute decorations that you did. I'll have to copy this dinner next year.

You are fun! My boys got a green dinner from Grandma on sunday... I am boring and did nothing, oh wait I made cookies with green frosting, but they weren't done until just before the boys went to bed. I need fun mom lessons! BTW nice face Micah
That looks like so much fun! You are the coolest mom, and apparently have an in with the Leprechauns. I "accidentally" wore green yesterday only realizing on my way to work it was St. Patrick's day, so I guess I could say I was festive. :)I'm glad you guys went all out though - I can't wait to do that with my family!
Does it make me a bad mom if I don't have intentions of doing this when Shad is older? What can I say I am not very festive. ;0{
