Our New Ride

We loved our old Sequoia, but it was time to say goodbye. The miles were racking up, and we were concerned about how much longer it would be before it would need some major work. Micah is always looking online at cars just for fun. Carmax had a 2010, black Sequoia that we drooled over for a few weeks online. We were really surprised that is didn't sell quicker because it seemed that this type of SUV sold rather quickly. Micah and Abbie went to the dealer one evening to just look at cars and ended up ordering the Sequoia from California. They don't charge any fee's and you are not locked into anything, so we decided to check it out. Of course it only took one test drive to fall in love with it….so here we are saying goodbye to our old Sequoia.

But, it wasn't much of a sad goodbye when they learned that our new vehicle had a built in TV. We made the rule of no food. So far we have stuck to that rule, and considering how gross our old Sequoia was I know I don't want that again. It looks pretty much the same as our old Sequoia, just black.

The wireless headphones are so great because Micah and I can actually listen to our own music while the kids watch a show on the road. Brilliant!

The first Sunday we had our new ride, we went for a long drive to test it out. Fun! Fun!

That same weekend we had the Phillips #4 family staying with us. We LOVE when people come to stay because we love spending quality time with family. When we have guests I feel like we get to spend one on one time together and make so many lasting memories. It's great when the whole family is together too, but it's not the same.

We had a great time at the park with cute Brooklyn and Kennedy. Cousin time is the best!

Abbie and Avery were laughing so hard on these saucer swings. I thought for sure they were going to fall off. Luckily no one was injured. Thank you Emily and David for coming to see us!!!
